The 3M™ Cubitron™ II 947A cloth sanding belts feature the familiar durability and speed of 3M™ Cubitron™ II products. They produce a uniform finish without discoloration. Thanks to the innovative grain mixture on an X-cloth backing, this belt is more flexible than previous 3M™ Cubitron™ II abrasive belts. They are particularly suitable for hand-held machines at low to medium pressure.
3M™ Cubitron™ II cloth abrasive belt 947A has a slightly lighter X-cloth backing and is therefore ideal for edge work and light weld bead finishing. The proportion of 3M precision-shaped ceramic grit (triangular grit) contributes significantly to the belt’s performance. The triangular flakes retain their sharp cutting edges during the grinding process. These continuously and cleanly process the surface of the workpiece. The result is a fast, cool grind and extended service life of the abrasive.
