The 3M™ Cubitron™ 3 cloth abrasive belt 1184F combines maximum performance with state-of-the-art abrasive technology. Thanks to an advanced abrasive grain with precise geometry, it ensures extremely efficient material removal—even under demanding conditions.
The version with 36+ grit is ideal for heavy-duty grinding applications requiring high material removal, such as when machining sprues or weld seams. Additionally, the 60+ and 80+ grit sizes are available for applications under medium pressure where a uniform finish is a priority.
A major advantage of this belt is its cool grinding, which significantly reduces thermal stress on the workpiece. At the same time, less contact pressure is required—this reduces strain on the user and increases control during work. The long service life minimizes change intervals and supports efficient processes, whether in manual operation or in automated systems.
