3M-237AA Trizact Sanding Belts

With the 3M™ Trizact™ 237AA cloth abrasive belt, you get an abrasive that ensures consistently reliable results thanks to its self-sharpening pyramid structure. The fine aluminum oxide particles are arranged in microscopically small pyramids. These wear down layer by layer during use, constantly exposing new, sharp cutting edges. This keeps the removal rate constant and guarantees a uniform finish.

The belt runs significantly cooler than conventional abrasives, preventing material overheating. Its flexible fabric backing adapts perfectly to contoured and shaped workpieces and ensures a clean, uniform finish. This makes the sanding belt ideal for intermediate sanding or fine polishing prior to coating or polishing operations.

The uniform grain distribution achieves a finer finish while simultaneously reducing working time and process steps. The resin-bonded aluminum oxide is heat-resistant and protects against grain loss. The integrated film closure ensures quiet, low-vibration operation and prevents chatter marks.
