3M-237AA Trizact Sanding Belts

The 3M™ Trizact™ 237AA cloth abrasive belt delivers consistent and reliable results thanks to its innovative abrasive technology. It is based on micro-replication technology, in which fine-micron-grade aluminum oxide is formed into tiny pyramids. This structure wears down in a controlled manner during grinding, continuously exposing fresh abrasive material. This keeps cutting performance consistently high throughout the entire service life, resulting in a precise, predictable finish.

The pyramid shape enables cooler cutting behavior than conventional abrasives and significantly extends service life. Thanks to the flexible X-weave backing, the belt adapts to contoured or irregular surfaces, ensuring uniform material removal. It is particularly suitable for intermediate sanding and fine polishing prior to coating or polishing processes.

The resin-bonded aluminum oxide offers impressive heat resistance and prevents the loss of abrasive grains. The sturdy foil closure also ensures smooth belt operation without disruptive vibrations or chatter marks.
