3M-237AA Trizact Abrasive Belts

The 3M™ Trizact™ 237AA cloth sanding belt was developed to make sanding processes more efficient, controlled, and durable. It is based on the three-dimensional pyramid structure, in which the finest micron-grade aluminum oxide particles are incorporated. These pyramids wear down in a controlled manner during sanding, continuously exposing new, sharp cutting edges. This maintains cutting performance over the long term and produces a reproducible, fine finish.

The belt cuts cooler than conventional abrasives, which prevents material damage from overheating and significantly extends service life. Thanks to the flexible X-weave backing, it reliably adapts even to complex contours or irregular surfaces. This makes the sanding belt ideal for intermediate sanding, fine sanding, and polishing prior to painting or coating.

The resin-bonded grit layer is heat-resistant and prevents grit loss even under high pressure. Additionally, the even grit distribution ensures a homogeneous sanding finish and reduces the need for additional sanding passes. A sturdy film backing ensures low-vibration operation and prevents annoying chatter marks.
