3M-237AA Trizact Abrasive Belts

The 3M™ Trizact™ 237AA cloth sanding belt is a high-performance abrasive based on a special three-dimensional pyramid structure. Here, the finest micron-grade aluminum oxide particles are applied in the form of pyramids to a durable cloth backing. During the grinding process, these pyramids wear down evenly, continuously exposing new, sharp cutting edges. The result: consistent material removal and a controllable, high-quality finish.

The abrasive belts run significantly cooler than conventional products, preventing overheating and significantly extending service life. The flexible X-fabric backing ensures that the belt adapts optimally to different contours, resulting in a uniform sanding pattern. This makes it particularly suitable for fine sanding, intermediate sanding, and polishing prior to coating or painting.

The even distribution of the abrasive grain across the entire surface achieves a particularly fine sanding result that requires fewer work steps. The resin-bonded abrasive mineral also offers high heat resistance and prevents grain loss. Additional stability is provided by the film backing, which guarantees smooth belt run without chatter marks.
