3M-237AA Trizact Abrasive Belts

The 3M™ Trizact™ 237AA cloth sanding belt delivers high precision and consistent results throughout its entire service life. It is based on innovative micro-replication technology, in which the finest pyramid-shaped aluminum oxide particles are applied to a robust fabric backing. These pyramids wear down in a controlled manner, constantly exposing new abrasive grains—ensuring consistent cutting performance and reproducible results.

Thanks to this self-sharpening principle, the belt runs cooler, works more efficiently, and delivers a finer finish than conventional abrasives. The flexible X-fabric backing allows for reliable adaptation to contoured or irregular surfaces and ensures consistent results. This makes the sanding belt ideal for intermediate sanding or fine polishing before coating or polishing.

The uniform grain distribution reduces work steps and saves time, while the resin-bonded surface is heat-resistant and prevents grain loss. Another advantage is the film closure, which ensures smooth belt running and prevents disruptive vibrations.
