3M-237AA Trizact Abrasive Belt

The 3M™ Trizact™ 237AA cloth sanding belt combines innovative sanding technology with high efficiency and consistent quality. It is based on the three-dimensional pyramid structure made of micron-grade aluminum oxide. During the grinding process, the pyramids break off in a controlled manner, continuously releasing fresh abrasive grains. This ensures that cutting performance is maintained over the long term and produces a reproducible, fine finish.

Compared to conventional abrasives, the belt runs cooler, cuts more evenly, and lasts significantly longer. The flexible X-fabric backing ensures adaptability even on shaped or contoured workpieces, thus producing a homogeneous finish. It is ideally suited for fine grinding and intermediate grinding, such as prior to coating or polishing processes.

Thanks to the evenly distributed grain structure, fewer work steps are required, reducing processing time and material consumption. The resin-bonded surface ensures high heat resistance and prevents grain loss. The reliable film closure securely joins the belt ends and enables smooth, even running without chatter marks.
