3M-237AA Sanding Belts

The 3M™ Trizact™ 237AA cloth sanding belt was specially developed to combine consistently high sanding performance with a fine, controlled finish. This is made possible by the three-dimensional pyramid structure of micron-grade aluminum oxide. During sanding, the pyramids wear down layer by layer, continuously exposing fresh grit. This ensures that cutting performance remains constant throughout the entire service life.

The belt runs cooler than conventional abrasives, preventing overheating of the workpiece. The flexible and robust X-weave backing reliably conforms to contours, curves, and shaped surfaces. This makes the 237AA ideal for fine grinding, intermediate grinding, and polishing prior to painting or coating.

The resin-bonded abrasive layer ensures heat resistance and prevents grain loss even under heavy use. Thanks to the uniform grain distribution, the number of processing steps is reduced, saving time and increasing efficiency. The film backing also guarantees smooth operation without disruptive vibrations or chatter marks.
