3M-237AA Sanding Belts

The 3M™ Trizact™ 237AA cloth sanding belt impresses with its innovative abrasive technology for a consistently fine finish. The pyramid-shaped microstructure of micron-grade aluminum oxide continuously exposes new, sharp cutting edges during sanding. This keeps cutting performance consistently stable and ensures the surface is processed evenly.

Unlike standard abrasives, the belt runs cooler, thereby preventing overheating of the workpiece. The robust yet flexible X-fabric backing conforms precisely to contours and curves. This makes the belt ideal for intermediate sanding, fine sanding, and polishing prior to coating or painting.

The resin-bonded grain layer is heat-resistant and prevents the loss of abrasive particles. Thanks to the uniform grain distribution, fewer processing steps are required, saving time and material. The film backing also ensures smooth belt operation without disruptive vibrations or chatter marks.
