The smooth backing of the 3M™ Dual Lock™ Hook-and-Loop Tape SJ3542 features a synthetic rubber adhesive. The black polypropylene hook-and-loop tape is suitable for bonding to many plastic materials, powder-coated surfaces, and other materials with low surface energy. Our hook-and-loop tape has 26 mushroom-shaped heads per cm² and is 5.8 mm thick when closed.

3M™ Dual Lock™ is a self-adhesive, flexible hook-and-loop fastener in roll form. The patented system consists of black polyolefin strips with hemispherical heads on short stems. Pressing them together creates a firm but releasable bond. Unlike conventional fastening systems such as screws or rivets, no holes are required that would compromise the visual appearance of the surface. The synthetic rubber adhesive features high initial tack and is suitable for low-energy surfaces such as PP, PE, and powder-coated materials.
