The 3M™ Dual Lock™ Hook-and-Loop Tape SJ3540 features a synthetic rubber adhesive on the smooth backing of the black hook. It is suitable for bonding various plastic materials, powder-coated surfaces, and other materials with low surface energy. Our hook-and-loop tape features 40 mushroom-shaped heads per cm² and is 5.8 mm thick when closed.

3M™ Dual Lock™ is a self-adhesive, flexible hook-and-loop fastener in roll form. The patented system consists of black polyolefin strips with hemispherical heads on short stems. Pressing them together creates a secure yet releasable bond. Unlike conventional fastening systems such as screws or rivets, no holes are required that would compromise the visual appearance of the surface. The synthetic rubber adhesive features high initial tack and is suitable for low-energy surfaces such as PP, PE, and powder-coated materials, among others.
