Beschreibung
The tesakrepp® 51445 is a single-sided, repulpable splicing tape with a flat paper backing and a modified, water-soluble acrylate adhesive. It was developed specifically for use in the paper and printing industries and offers excellent shear strength, temperature resistance, and process reliability.
The tape withstands even high web speeds and temperatures up to 220 °C (for short periods), thus ensuring reliable adhesion even in high-speed processes. Thanks to its very thin product design, it enables smooth further processing, e.g., in printing plants, calenders, or roll slitting machines.
The blue backing tape is printable and coatable on the reverse side and exhibits excellent repulpability in all common pH ranges (pH 3 – pH 9). This ensures complete recycling of the paper without residues – ideal for sustainable production processes.
