Beschreibung
The 3M™ UHMW-PE Adhesive Tape 5421 is a 0.17 mm thick, translucent sliding and protective adhesive tape made of Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW-PE). It offers extremely high abrasion resistance and a low coefficient of friction, creating a “sliding surface” that prevents wear between contact surfaces. The rubber-resin adhesive ensures immediate adhesion and a quick, clean bond between two materials. The adhesive tape reduces squeaking, rattling, and vibration noises, is ideal for applications where lubricants cannot be used, and can be precisely die-cut or trimmed thanks to its release liner. It is chemical-resistant, abrasion-resistant, and durable, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications—from the automotive and aerospace industries to maintenance and material handling.
