The 3M™ AB5000HF Series EMI Absorbers are magnetic EMI absorbers with good attenuation at the target frequencies. They consist of a flexible polymer resin reinforced with soft metal flakes, which ensure excellent absorption at frequencies from 800 MHz to 2 GHz. Non-conductive acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive on one side for quick and easy application. These sheet-shaped EMI absorbers are ideal for near-field and cavity resonance applications in electronic devices and enclosures.

The target frequency range—the ideal range for peak performance—for the 3M™ AB5000HF Series EMI Absorbers is between 800 MHz and 2 GHz, with the lower end of the operating frequency range at 300 MHz. Potential product applications include covering, securing, or sheathing: antennas, cables, display CoFs, enclosures, PCBs, FPCs, semiconductor chips, and sensors.
