The 3M™ 56212 double-sided non-woven adhesive tape is a 120 µm thick, solvent-free high-performance adhesive tape with a paper non-woven backing and acrylate adhesive, designed for reliable, durable, and versatile bonds. It offers high initial tack and excellent adhesion to materials with high surface energy such as metal, plastic, and foam.
The non-woven backing ensures dimensional stability and easy handling during die-cutting, lamination, or processing, while the tape simultaneously offers excellent conformability to curves and uneven surfaces. Thanks to its high transparency, low-temperature resistance, and tear strength, the 3M™ 56212 is ideal for industrial applications where clean, durable, and visually unobtrusive adhesive solutions are required.
The tape is manufactured using a solvent-free coating process—an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional adhesive tapes. This technology reduces emissions and energy consumption and eliminates the need for solvent recovery.
