3M™ General Purpose Masking Tape 232 is a durable crepe paper tape with rubber adhesive that ensures clean paint lines and secure adhesion. It is particularly suitable for painting work at medium curing temperatures up to 121 °C (up to 30 minutes) and can be removed without leaving any residue—even from surfaces that are difficult to clean, such as EPDM rubber. The solvent-resistant impregnating agent prevents paint from bleeding through latex and oil-based coatings. Thanks to its adaptability, it is suitable for masking corners and irregular surfaces. In addition to its use as painter’s tape, it is versatile, for example for bundling, protecting, or securing items in commercial and industrial settings.
