Beschreibung
The 3M™ Polyester Film Tape 853 is a transparent, high-strength polyester tape with a solvent-resistant acrylic adhesive. It was specifically developed for applications requiring chemical resistance, abrasion protection, and temperature stability.
The tear-resistant polyester backing reliably protects sensitive surfaces from abrasion, while the high transparency ensures that printed information or labels remain visible. This makes the tape ideal for protecting markings or as a laminate for sensitive surfaces.
With its excellent resistance to many solvents such as kerosene, hydraulic fluid, and lubricating oils, the 3M™ Polyester Film Tape 853 is ideally suited for demanding industrial environments. It also withstands temperatures up to 150 °C and is suitable for high-temperature processes.
