3M™ Metal Tape 435 is a silver, low-temperature tape with a soft aluminum backing. The aluminum foil interface layer of the backing material is coated with a pressure-sensitive, viscoelastic polymer adhesive and equipped with an easily removable release liner. This tape absorbs and dissipates vibrations, thereby reducing noise and material fatigue.

3M™ Metal Tape 435 is a 0.34 mm thick, silver, conformable soft aluminum tape. It is designed to reduce noise and absorb and dissipate vibrations, primarily by reducing structure-borne noise in metal and composite panels and support structures. It can achieve effective damping with only 10% surface coverage. This tape is durable. It resists moisture, weathering, UV damage, and flames. It is a durable, chemical-resistant adhesive tape that performs well over a wide temperature range, particularly at lower temperatures. It can be used at temperatures ranging from -60°C to 20°C.
