The 3M™ Laser-Markable Film is an innovative label material with a two-layer, cast acrylic face stock, specifically developed for direct laser marking with Nd:YAG lasers. The laser precisely ablates the top layer, creating high-resolution, high-contrast markings—ideal for small barcodes, 2D codes, or fine text.
Thanks to its excellent resistance to abrasion, chemicals, temperature, and UV light, the film is ideally suited for permanent industrial marking—even on difficult substrates.
