Beschreibung
The 3M™ Scotchcal™ Opaque Color Film Series 100 is a cast PVC film with a thickness of 50 µm and a transparent, solvent-based adhesive that can be removed with heat if necessary. It was specifically developed for use on computer-controlled cutting plotters and offers excellent flatness on both roll-fed and flatbed plotters.
The film is ideal for producing detailed graphics and delicate, fine lettering. It offers excellent weeding properties, even after prolonged storage, and is suitable for both hot and cold die-cutting. Thanks to its flexibility, it can be applied to flat or slightly curved surfaces, over rivets, or in shallow creases.
With a service life of up to 12 years, it is particularly durable and is also ABG-approved for use on vehicle windows. Thanks to its transparent adhesive, it remains virtually invisible even on glass and other transparent surfaces.
For application, 3M recommends the SCPS-100 (for large formats) and SCPS-2 (for small formats) tapes.
