3M™ 79 Glass Fiber Fabric Tape is a printable adhesive tape used for coils/transformers and motors. Applications include the external wrapping of coil forms, mandrel coils, terminal block mounts, end and wire anchors, and connectors. This tape is rated for 600 V and withstands a temperature range of 0 to 150 °C.
3M™ Adhesive Tape 79 features a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive that provides optimal adhesion and is tear-resistant at the edges. This versatile adhesive tape is solvent-resistant and features a glass cloth backing that does not shrink, rot, or burn. This ensures maximum stability. The printable tape is designed for bundling and strapping. It provides excellent absorption of resins and varnishes. UL-listed and RoHS 2011/65/EU compliant.
