Beschreibung
3M™ Fiberglass Tape 69 is a white, high-performance insulating tape with a total thickness of 0.178 mm. It consists of a 0.140 mm thick fiberglass backing coated on one side with a non-corrosive, pressure-sensitive silicone adhesive. This combination ensures high temperature resistance, flame-retardant properties, and reliable adhesion even under demanding conditions.
The tape meets UL and CSA specifications with a temperature resistance of up to 200 °C (UL) and 180 °C (CSA), respectively, and offers a dielectric strength of 3,000 volts. It is UL-recognized, RoHS-compliant, and QPL-listed (QPL-19166 per MIL-I-19166). When stored properly according to 3M guidelines, it has a shelf life of up to five years.
Its robust glass fabric structure makes it tear- and abrasion-resistant, even under heavy mechanical stress, such as that encountered in electric motors or transformers. Thanks to its high flexibility, the tape adapts perfectly to various substrates, while the printable surface allows for excellent resin and paint adhesion.
