Beschreibung
3M™ Fiberglass Tape 69 is a white insulating tape with a total thickness of 0.178 mm, consisting of a 0.140 mm thick fiberglass backing. The single-sided coating with a non-corrosive, pressure-sensitive silicone adhesive gives the tape high temperature resistance and flame-retardant properties.
It meets UL and CSA specifications with a temperature resistance of up to 200 °C (UL) and 180 °C (CSA), respectively, and offers a dielectric strength of 3,000 volts. The tape is UL-recognized, RoHS-compliant, and QPL-listed (QPL-19166 per MIL-I-19166) and has a shelf life of up to five years when stored properly.
The robust glass fabric structure makes it particularly tear- and abrasion-resistant, ensuring reliable performance even under high mechanical stress—such as in motors or transformers. It flexibly adapts to various substrates and, thanks to its printable surface, offers excellent adhesion for resins and paints.
