Beschreibung
3M™ Fiberglass Tape 69 is a white, 0.178 mm thick insulating tape with a 0.140 mm thick fiberglass backing coated on one side with a non-corrosive, pressure-sensitive silicone adhesive. The adhesive is high-temperature resistant, flame-retardant, and provides reliable adhesion even under demanding conditions.
With a dielectric strength of up to 3,000 volts and a temperature resistance of 200 °C (UL) or 180 °C (CSA), it meets the requirements of Insulation Class H. The tape is UL-recognized, RoHS-compliant, and QPL-listed (QPL-19166 per MIL-I-19166).
Thanks to its tear- and abrasion-resistant glass fabric structure, it offers a long service life—even under heavy mechanical stress, such as in electric motors or transformers. Its high flexibility ensures excellent adaptation to various surfaces, while the printable fabric structure allows for outstanding resin and paint adhesion. When stored properly according to 3M specifications, it has a shelf life of up to 5 years.
