Beschreibung
3M™ Fiberglass Tape 69 is a white insulating tape with a thickness of 0.178 mm, consisting of a 0.140 mm thick fiberglass backing coated on one side with a non-corrosive, pressure-sensitive silicone adhesive. This adhesive is high-temperature resistant, flame-retardant, and ensures secure adhesion even under demanding conditions.
The tape is UL-recognized, RoHS-compliant, and QPL-listed (QPL-19166 per MIL-I-19166) and withstands temperatures up to 200 °C according to UL and 180 °C according to CSA. With a dielectric strength of 3,000 volts, it offers excellent insulating properties. The tear- and abrasion-resistant glass fabric structure ensures a long service life—even under high mechanical stress, such as that found in electric motors or transformers. Thanks to its flexibility, the tape adapts perfectly to various substrates, while the printable surface allows for excellent resin and paint adhesion. When stored properly according to 3M specifications, a shelf life of up to 5 years is guaranteed.
