Beschreibung
3M™ Fiberglass Tape 69 is a white, high-performance insulating tape with a total thickness of 0.178 mm, consisting of a 0.140 mm thick fiberglass backing. This is coated on one side with a non-corrosive, pressure-sensitive silicone adhesive that is high-temperature resistant and flame-retardant.
The tape offers a dielectric strength of 3,000 volts and meets the temperature classification up to 200 °C according to UL and 180 °C according to CSA (Class H insulation). It is UL-recognized, RoHS-compliant, and QPL-listed (QPL-19166 per MIL-I-19166). When stored properly in accordance with 3M recommendations, it remains serviceable for up to five years.
Thanks to its robust, tear- and abrasion-resistant glass fabric structure, the tape is particularly durable—even under high mechanical stress, such as that encountered in electric motors or transformers. Its flexible nature ensures excellent adaptation to various substrates, while the printable surface allows for outstanding resin and paint adhesion.
