Beschreibung
The 3M™ Scotch-Seal™ Mastic Tape 2229 is a self-fusing, thick, and highly flexible sealing and insulating tape. Thanks to its UV-resistant mastic resin with a rubber backing, it conforms perfectly to uneven surfaces and provides reliable protection against moisture, corrosion, and environmental influences. The material has self-healing properties, allowing it to restore its seal after cuts or punctures. It is easy to apply, features a peel-off protective liner, and withstands temperatures up to 90 °C. This makes it ideal for insulating electrical connections up to 1,000 volts (in combination with vinyl or rubber insulating tape) as well as for sealing cables and connectors.
