Beschreibung
The 3M™ Filament-Reinforced Insulating Tape 1139 is a 6.5-mil-thick insulating tape that uses a combination of polyester film and glass fiber filaments as a backing material. In combination with a solvent-resistant acrylate adhesive, it offers excellent electrical breakdown resistance and high mechanical strength.
The tape has low elongation, high tensile strength and edge tear resistance, and is specifically designed for applications that must withstand temperatures up to 155 °C (UL Class F). It is ideal for securing cables to reels and end anchors, for reinforcement, and for the safe separation of insulation layers in oil- or air-filled transfer installations.
3M™ Insulation Tape 1139 is rated for 600 V, UL-listed (E 17385 OANZ 2) and complies with the requirements of RoHS 2011/65/EU. It thus offers a reliable and standards-compliant solution for demanding electrical engineering applications.
