3M™ Epoxy Film Super 10 is an epoxy-film-reinforced polyester film that meets the highest standards in terms of both electrical and mechanical properties. The insulating tape withstands a breakdown voltage of up to 8,000 volts and, with a temperature resistance of 155 °C, belongs to insulation class F. At the same time, mechanical damage is virtually impossible due to its flame resistance, high puncture resistance, and resistance to oils and solder drips. The epoxy film is extremely robust and elastic. It is therefore particularly suitable for use as coil coverings, for cable fastening and cable bundling, for cover bandages, and for end and cross-insulation in transformers. Furthermore, the highly elastic epoxy tape is characterized by its ease of use. It unrolls very evenly, and its heat-curing rubber adhesive prevents subsequent flagging. Its ease of use contributes significantly to increased productivity by saving time and material.
