3M VHB Adhesive Tape MAX-230GF

The 3M™ VHB™ Max Series Adhesive Tape is a high-performance, double-sided acrylic adhesive tape designed to replace mechanical joining methods, certain welding processes, and liquid adhesives in applications that require maximum strength. With a lap strength of up to 3.24 MPa (470 psi), it significantly outperforms conventional 3M™ VHB™ tapes and enables durable, high-load-bearing bonds in the most demanding industrial environments.

The immediate handling strength allows for quick assembly and significantly reduces processing times—unlike liquid adhesives, which require curing time. At the same time, the tape provides greater design freedom, as narrower bond lines and smaller bonding areas are sufficient to achieve excellent results. This saves material and optimizes production processes.

When used in combination with the 3M™ VHB™ Adhesive Tape Max Adhesion Promoter, excellent adhesion is achieved on a wide variety of substrates, such as metals and high-energy surfaces.
