The 3M™ VHB™ Tape Max Series is a high-performance, double-sided acrylic adhesive tape designed to replace mechanical joining methods, certain welding processes, and liquid adhesives in applications requiring maximum strength. With a lap strength of up to 3.24 MPa (470 psi), it offers significantly higher adhesive strength than standard 3M™ VHB™ tape, enabling durable, robust bonds in demanding industrial environments.

Thanks to its immediate handling strength, the tape allows for significantly faster assembly and processing compared to liquid adhesives. It reduces labor, saves time, and ensures consistent, clean results—without drilling, welding, or post-processing. At the same time, it offers greater design flexibility, as material can be saved through narrower bond lines and smaller bonding areas without compromising stability.
