3M VHB Adhesive Tape MAX-060GF

The 3M™ VHB™ Max Adhesive Tape is the strongest acrylic adhesive tape in the 3M™ VHB™ portfolio and was specifically developed to replace mechanical fastening methods, certain forms of welding, and liquid adhesives in structural applications. It offers exceptional shear strength of up to 3.24 MPa (470 psi) – and thus significantly higher adhesive strength than standard VHB tapes.

With its immediate handling strength, the 3M™ VHB™ Max enables faster assembly processes and significantly reduces post-processing times. This makes production more efficient and cleaner, as drilling, welding, or cleaning are no longer necessary. At the same time, the tape enables cost-effective processing with consistently high performance thanks to narrower joint lines and a reduced bonding area.

The series is available in various thicknesses – 0.6 mm (060GF), 1.1 mm (110GF), 1.6 mm (160GF), and 2.3 mm (230GF) – offering maximum flexibility for a wide range of design requirements. When used in combination with the 3M™ VHB™ Max Adhesive Promoter, it achieves exceptionally high bond strength on materials such as metal, glass, plastic, and coated surfaces.
