Beschreibung
3M™ VHB™ Tape 5962 is a high-performance, 1.6 mm thick acrylic adhesive tape that enables an extremely strong yet flexible bond. Thanks to its pressure-sensitive adhesive, it achieves high service strength immediately and can be applied quickly and easily. The virtually invisible bond ensures a clean, aesthetic appearance—without any visible screws, rivets, or weld spots.
The tape adheres reliably to a wide variety of materials, including powder-coated, textured, rough, or uneven surfaces. In many cases, it can completely replace mechanical fastening methods, thereby reducing time-consuming steps such as drilling, welding, or post-processing. Its viscoelastic properties excel at absorbing dynamic loads such as vibrations and impacts. At the same time, the adhesive tape provides a durable seal against moisture and environmental influences.
