Beschreibung
The 3M™ VHB™ High-Performance Adhesive Tape 5952 in black features a 1.1 mm thick, double-sided acrylic adhesive layer that flexibly conforms to a wide variety of surfaces—including rough or uneven textures. Thanks to the pressure-sensitive adhesive, a durable bond forms immediately that holds permanently and is virtually invisible, enabling a clean design.
It reliably replaces conventional fastening methods such as screws, rivets, or welded joints, thereby eliminating steps such as drilling, grinding, or finishing. Additionally, the viscoelastic material absorbs vibrations and shocks, provides a permanent seal against moisture, and allows for the use of thinner, lighter, or different materials.
The closed-cell acrylate structure allows for tension-free bonding on smooth, textured, powder-coated, or low-energy surfaces such as certain plastics (except soft PVC) and glass—often even without a primer.
