3M Adhesive Tape 5906F Black

The 3M™ VHB™ 5906 high-performance double-sided tape was specifically developed for demanding bonding applications with very thin adhesive joints. With a material thickness of only 0.15 mm, it enables precise, visually clean bonds that remain virtually invisible.

The black acrylic foam core, combined with a modified acrylate adhesive, ensures immediate adhesion upon contact and a long-term, durable bond. The tape adapts perfectly to irregular or slightly textured surfaces and adheres reliably to metals, plastics, glass, paints, and powder coatings.

Thanks to its viscoelastic properties, stresses are distributed evenly, allowing the tape to effectively absorb vibrations and shocks. At the same time, it creates a durable seal against moisture and environmental influences. In many applications, the adhesive tape can replace traditional joining methods such as screws, rivets, or welding, thereby significantly reducing assembly effort, weight, and post-processing.
