3M™ VHB™ High-Performance Adhesive Tape 5906 is an extremely thin, double-sided adhesive tape with a black acrylic foam core and a modified acrylic adhesive. With a thickness of just 0.15 mm, it enables virtually invisible, clean adhesive bonds while delivering high strength.

Thanks to its pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, the tape can withstand loads immediately and ensures a durable, reliable bond on a wide variety of materials. It adheres securely to metals, plastics, glass, painted surfaces, as well as powder-coated and slightly uneven surfaces.

The viscoelastic material distributes forces evenly across the entire bonding surface, absorbs vibrations and shocks, and provides a reliable seal against moisture. This often allows mechanical fasteners such as screws, rivets, or welds to be replaced—without any drilling, grinding, or post-processing.
