Reliability across the board: Our 3M™ VHB™ Tape 4991, gray, is a 2.3 mm thick, extremely conformable tape made of 100% closed-cell acrylate adhesive for permanently strong bonds indoors and outdoors. It can be applied quickly and easily and offers high-performance, long-lasting durability. It can replace rivets, welds, and screws. Use this high-performance, viscoelastic VHB tape on a wide variety of surfaces, such as powder-coated surfaces.

3M VHB high-performance adhesive tapes are double-sided tapes made of closed-cell acrylate adhesive. They offer high adaptability to the surfaces being bonded. Smooth or textured surfaces can be bonded over the entire surface without tension. Ideally suited for a wide range of materials with high and medium surface energy, such as metals, plastics, paints, or glass. High resistance to plasticizers (e.g., on PVC substrates).
