The 3M™ VHB™ Tape 4947 is a 1.1 mm thick, double-sided high-performance adhesive tape in black, which impresses with its strong adhesive strength, high conformability, and long-lasting durability. The acrylate adhesive ensures reliable bonds on materials with medium to high surface energy such as metal, glass, plastic, painted surfaces, and soft PVC.
The tape offers immediate strength in use and replaces mechanical fasteners such as screws, rivets, or welds—for a clean, efficient, and visually appealing solution. Thanks to its viscoelastic properties, it absorbs vibrations and shocks, compensates for unevenness, and provides a permanent seal against moisture, dust, and water.
