Beschreibung
The 3M™ VHB™ Tape 4941 is a gray, double-sided high-performance adhesive tape with a thickness of 1.1 mm, which is particularly suitable for permanent bonds in demanding material combinations. It consists of a viscoelastic, closed-cell acrylate adhesive that delivers high strength, conformability, and durability.
Thanks to its immediate serviceability due to pressure-sensitive adhesive, the tape replaces conventional joining methods such as screwing, riveting, or welding. Time-consuming processing steps such as drilling, grinding, or post-cleaning are eliminated, saving time and costs.
The tape offers high resistance to plasticizers, making it ideal for use on PVC surfaces. It compensates for material stresses, reliably absorbs vibrations and shocks, and simultaneously protects against moisture and environmental influences. The tape adheres reliably to materials with medium to high surface energy, e.g., metals, plastics, paints, or glass.
