This tape enables quick and easy bonding as well as strong and durable adhesion. Use this high-performance tape on a wide variety of materials with medium to high surface energy. The viscoelastic VHB tape offers flexibility and replaces rivets, welds, and screws. Tape 4936 features high resistance to plasticizers.

3M VHB High-Performance Adhesive Tapes are double-sided tapes made from closed-cell acrylate adhesive. They offer high adaptability to the surfaces to be bonded. Smooth or textured surfaces can be bonded over the entire surface without tension. Ideally suited for a wide range of materials with high and medium surface energy, such as metals, plastics, paints, or glass. High resistance to plasticizers (e.g., on PVC substrates).
