3M Adhesive Tape 4936P Gray

The 3M™ VHB™ Tape 4936 is a gray, double-sided high-performance adhesive tape with a thickness of 0.6 mm, designed for durable and resilient bonds on materials with medium to high surface energy. It consists of a closed-cell acrylate adhesive that ensures excellent conformability and durable adhesion even under demanding conditions.

Thanks to its viscoelastic properties, the tape reliably compensates for material stresses, absorbs vibrations and mechanical stresses, and simultaneously provides a long-term seal against moisture and water. It is ideal as an alternative to screws, rivets, or welded joints, eliminating the need for time-consuming preparation and finishing work.

Particularly noteworthy is the high resistance to plasticizers, which qualifies the adhesive tape for use on soft PVC or other plastic-based materials. It adheres reliably to metals, plastics, painted surfaces, and many other materials—even with varying material thicknesses or slightly textured surfaces.
