3M™ VHB™ Tape 4936 is a 0.6 mm thick, double-sided, high-performance adhesive tape in gray, featuring a viscoelastic acrylic adhesive. It offers exceptional adaptability to a wide variety of materials and impresses with its very high initial adhesion and durable bond strength—even on challenging surfaces such as PVC containing plasticizers. This tape replaces traditional mechanical joining methods such as screws, rivets, or welding and enables a clean, virtually invisible bond. It is particularly well-suited for applications where vibrations need to be dampened, unevenness compensated for, and a reliable seal against moisture achieved.
