3M™ VHB™ Adhesive Tape 4918 is a transparent, double-sided, high-performance tape made from an acrylic adhesive with a thickness of 2 mm. It has been specially developed for applications requiring an invisible, durable and robust bond – ideal for bonding transparent materials such as glass, acrylic or polycarbonate.
The tape enables quick and clean bonding without drilling, riveting or welding. The pressure-sensitive adhesive ensures immediate serviceability, whilst the high transparency ensures an optimised design – even edges remain virtually invisible. Thanks to its high dynamic load-bearing capacity, 3M™ VHB™ 4918 reliably absorbs vibrations and shocks whilst creating a permanent seal against water and moisture.
