3M Spacer Film 7953MP

The 3M™ 7953MP is a high-precision spacer film with a total thickness of 100 µm, specially developed for use in membrane keyboards and front films. The polyester backing, only 13 µm thick, is coated on both sides with the proven 3M™ 200MP high-performance adhesive (58 µm each) and ensures a durable bond even with very narrow structures.

Two climate-stable, PE-coated release liners (107 µm), one of which is printed, guarantee excellent flatness and enable precise and clean further processing—such as die-cutting. The film offers outstanding adhesion to metal and high-energy plastics, combined with high UV, temperature, and chemical resistance.

Thanks to its high transparency and chemical compatibility with specialty inks and conductive pastes, it is ideal for demanding electronic applications. Even under thermal stress (up to 120°C, briefly 150°C), it remains dimensionally stable and reliable—without bleeding at the die-cut edges.
