3M™ Automotive Adhesive is a two-component epoxy for bonding steel, aluminum, SMC, and FRP (conventional fiberglass). The product is primarily used as a replacement for side panels, roofs, body panels, van side panels, commercial vehicle side panels, and door panels.

Complete sealing and bonding in a single step with 3M™ Body Adhesive. Our innovative, high-performance, cost-effective adhesive bonds steel, aluminum, SMC, and FRP (conventional fiberglass) when replacing side panels, roofs, truck body sides, van side panels, commercial vehicle side panels, and door panels. The product can be spot-welded through rivet joints or applied in conjunction with these joints. Under certain circumstances, the product is also suitable for repairing bumper covers. This product is not intended for bonding structural components on vehicles, such as pillars, sills, or frame parts. If it is not clearly identifiable whether a specific component is a structural part, that component must be welded. The 3M™ 08117 manual pressure gun or the 3M™ 09930 pneumatic gun is recommended for applying the product.
