It increases adhesion to surfaces such as polypropylene, ABS, PET-PBT blends, and other difficult-to-bond surfaces, and provides equipment manufacturers with an improved environmental, health, and safety profile compared to 3M™ Adhesion Promoter 94.

3M™ VHB™ Tape Universal Primer UV offers an improved environmental, health, and safety profile compared to 3M™ Adhesion Promoter 94. To achieve this, no aromatic compounds such as toluene, xylene, or chlorobenzene, and no halogens, for example in the form of chlorinated compounds, are intentionally added. 3M™ VHB™ Tape Universal Primer UV contains a UV indicator that makes the primer visible under UV light. This makes it easy to verify correct primer application during quality control. The short drying time supports faster processing times and thus productivity.
