Scotch Insulating Varnish 1601 Clear

3M Scotch 1601 Insulating Varnish, Clear, 400 ml. Scotch Insulating Varnish is a clear, acrylic resin-based insulating and coating varnish with a wide range of applications. It forms a flexible and durable film that adheres excellently to all common materials such as metal, glass, plastic, or wood. The varnish is resistant to acids, oil, and alkalis, as well as to moisture, UV radiation, and other weathering effects. It also features extremely high dielectric strength. As such, it serves as a protective coating for electrical connections, switches, switchgear, terminal blocks, electronic components, coils, windings, and laminated cores. Furthermore, it can be used on the electrical equipment of vehicles and for repairing electric motors, as well as a flexible protective coating for construction drawings and similar applications. It is temperature-resistant up to 120 °C. The insulating varnish is dust-dry after 15 minutes and fully cured after 120 minutes.
