Sealants in Industry – What Does That Mean?
3M sealants are high-modulus, fast-curing products that can be used on plastics such as PMMA and PC, as well as on glass. The product, which has a skin formation time of 30 minutes, can be painted over afterward.
Sealants can also be used for air duct sealing:3M sealants are also used, for example, to seal air ducts. They are used to seal the corners of air ducts, along profile edges, at connections between duct systems, or to seal air conditioning units.
